Hello! I’m the Executive Director of the Metropolitan New York Library Council, a non-profit member services agency that provides resources and services to hundreds of academic, public, and special libraries in the metropolitan New York region. Before this, I was the interim director and served as the Emerging Technologies Manager, overseeing METRO’s collaborative digitization grant programs and professional development programs in digitization and emerging technologies.
I came to work in libraries after publishing a nationally distributed, award-winning independent culture and politics magazine (clamor) and founding a national conference for independent media makers (Allied Media Conference).
