Searching the Clamor Archive Project

Conduct a basic search by entering a term and selecting the field in which you would like to search for the term. Conduct an advanced search by searching multiple terms and fields. See below for more information about the available search fields in the Clamor Archive Project.

About the Search Fields:

Keyword: Search keywords in the abstract and full text of the object

Subject: Search the subject field for objects of interest on a given subject. Each resource is categorized using the ProQuest controlled vocabulary for more precise searching.

Title: Search the title of an object (i.e. an article title or the the assigned title of a non-publication piece).

Author: Search for works published in Clamor by a particular author. Names should be entered as they would appear in publication (i.e. First name Last Name). Non-publication materials (i.e. ephemeral materials created by Clamor for extra-publication uses) are authored under the name "Clamor Magazine."

Artist: Search for works contributed to Clamor by a particular artist. Names should be entered as they would appear in publication (i.e. First name Last Name).

Issue: Search for objects associated with a given issue number (1-38)

Author: Searches all works contributed to Clamor by a given author. Names should be entered as they appeared in publication (i.e. First name Last Name).

Document ID : Each object in the Clamor Archive Project is assigned a unique ID tag to represent its contextual position in the collection. Use this field and truncation tools to search for an object with particular Document ID characteristics. See right for an explanation of Document ID specifications.

Publication ID: As CAP is expanded to include more small press titles, unique publicatio IDs will be assigned for each title. Use this field to search for objects associated with one or more publication. Clamor Magazine's Publication ID is 1001.
